About Liz Walinski
I am a painter and a photographer - this in the true sense of the word. If you translate the ancient Greek word photós with light 'and graphein with' write ',' paint ',' draw ', then it is true: I "paint, draw and write with light". For this I have been using next to painting the process of cyanotype - literally translated - again from Greek - blue print (for cyan and typography).

I am an American Arist living in Munich, Germany. I work in painting, printing, sculpturing, installation and photography.
I received a Masters degree in Art from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (2011) where I am now a member of the faculty and spend art study visits in Capri (IT), Frauenwoerth (DE) and Monterey (USA). Since 2008 I have exhibited art work in galleries and art projects in Germany with solo shows in Munich and Berlin and participated in serveral Art Shows and national and international Art Exhibitions. I am a Member of Artistproject LOT62 in Munich, Artist Group KÖ, the Kunstverein Toelzer Land and BDK (German Association for Art Education). |
