From 9. to 30. August (16-20pm) "SUPER SUMMER ART MARKET" organized by @kunstinsendling takes place at the old corner shop in the Oberlaender Strasse 20, Munich-Sendling. The first week was a complete success! Group I consisting of six artists presented their amazing artworks. This week group II - five artists - launched a complete new exhibition, referring to summer and sun, with hot air and cool drinks. It's all about contrasts: metall and wood, wet and dry, day and night, light and dark. My paintings are exhibited under new circumstances: in the dark and bathed in black light, so that their fluorescent pigments radiate. Black light transforms and emphazises the artwork impressively shown by "the stars run riots". Check out the opening day clip:

The exhibtions will take place in a former jail building in a Bavarian town called Freising . My contribution is a series of paintngs and cyanotypes dealing with the topic of light and spectre.

Liz Walinski was one of the founding artist of the kuenstlerprojekt LOT 62 ten years ago. It is located in the center of Munichs Museums area with a lot of galleries and art studios around it. For the tenth annoversary of the artproject there will be a lot of events to celebrate art.

The year starts with the exhibition FREE in January.

Open Studio Weekend in Munich-Sendling. Painters, Sculpturers, Fotographers and others artists will open their studios in Sendling.

Together with Ulrike Schüler, Katalin Marghescu und Monika Vesely my artwork will be in the studio at Plinganser Str. 23 (Plan Nr. 04).  On Saturday evening at eight o'clock Johannes Lotz will add some folk-rock music to the art.

Additional to the studio location there will be an art exhibition will all participating artists at the  Kontorhaus. Don't miss the grand opening on Friday at 6.

My contribution is called „WELCOME 04“ and is a vision of a peaceful together. Welcome means to greet hospitably and with courtesy or cordiality and is used as a friendly greeting to someone who has arrived at a place. A welcome can be warm or cold. The artwork „WELCOME 04“ - a cyanotpye on metal from 2016 – is an image of people in rowing boats. When they arrive how will they be welcomed? „WELCOME 04“  was created as cyanotypes on metal, resulting in rich, deep colors of blue that give the metal a mysterious and ethereal quality following the idea of a vision and not a real thing happening.

ANIMA MUNDI FESTIVAL, will be presented in Venice at Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi, in the months between May and November 2017, in the same period of the 57th Venice Art Biennale.

I am very happy to be part of  the exhibition "Say Hello 2017" curated by Emmy Horstkamp of Munich Artists.

The Say Hello Installation  will be showed at different locations around Munich and consists of boxes created by various artists and a sound installation. On April 22 the show starts at Galerie Freiraum 16  Oefelestr. 13a in Munich.

Emmy also created a booklet so that all the wonderful art objects Munich Artists created for the Box Melody installation can be shared by flipping through the booklet or by watching the video. Enjoy!
